Amazon needs to get their ass in gear and pick up Supernatural for season 16. they literally have Kripke, Jensen, Alex, Jared, Rob Benedict, and Jim Beaver probably Misha too if we're being honest already on their payroll so it really wouldn't be that big of a leap for them to take on the SPN revival.

Misha already said that they all want to do a reboot, so clearly that's not an issue. it's almost certain that they will make time to film it. and if it's a matter of buying the rights from the CW (if they even still own them), you cannot tell me that Amazon doesn't have the money for it. honestly they could probably buy WB as a whole if they really wanted to.

@primevideo what do you need from us? more reassurance that a Supernatural revival is highly anticipated and will be very successful and make lots of money for you?? bc lemme tell ya, it'll do numbers big time. i mean look at how popular the SPN conventions still are to this day, even 4 years after the show ended, and tickets for 2025 conventions are already selling!

chop chop time is ticking and those actors won't live forever!! this fandom will not let that godforsaken show die and be at peace until we get some damn closure and a well-deserved happy ending for our beloved characters

Yes spn is a terrible show that went on for far too long but it’s also the best thing that happened in the history of television and it should get 15 more seasons. What’s so hard to understand about that?

Do you think the CW/ WB would just completely reboot Supernatural? As in, start from scratch, recast actors, get new writers, begin a new version? They'd have a better chance at turning it into a (bigger) franchise without the baggage of 15 convoluted seasons to adhere to (as well as younger actors, execs would see them as having more years in their 'tank').

CW won't have anything to do with a future reboot. If wb thought that they could make money off of it, they 100% would do that, but I think the failure of the spin-offs has proved that Supernatural without J2 in it, at least at some part, is likely to fail.

I keep saying I want a Supernatural Season 16 but do I really want it? In my head it’d be this great season that erases the finale, makes Destiel canon, and shows Sam getting the happy ending he deserves, but in reality it’d probably be some homophobic mess that’s somehow worse than the finale we have now. I don’t know if I want to live through more terrible Supernatural, you know?

surely it doesn't need saying but if they reboot spn and don't make destiel explicitly canon on dean's side and give us at least one proper gay kiss? i don't want it. they really need to bring back cas and resurrect dean and turn back the clock on that bizarro world of sam's bc we all know that was chuck's real endgame. but if they don't do those things they at least need dean to reciprocate cas' gay romantic sexual feelings and show us his own gay romantic sexual love for cas in more ways than one and one of those ways better be with a goddamn gay af kiss
